Partner landing page system

I had the opportunity to work closely with Pat at vidIQ, where he played an important role in designing partnership landing pages for creators ranging from 5,000 to more than 10 million subscribers.

These pages became a key part of how we activated and scaled creator partnerships, helping turn the channel into one of vidIQ’s main revenue drivers. Pat consistently combined strong creative judgment with strategic thinking, and he understood how to design pages that not only looked great but also supported the broader goals of each partnership.

What stood out most was how reliable and self-directed he was. Pat was always on top of his work, moved quickly, and rarely needed much direction from me. I could trust him to understand what was needed and execute at a high level.

He was also a great collaborator and genuinely enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend Pat to any team looking for a talented designer who can think strategically, work independently, and consistently deliver.

A creator tells their audience that vidIQ is how they grow, and sends them to a page built for that moment: the partner’s own face and words right next to the offer. Everyone who lands there arrived on somebody’s word, and the page has to be worth it.

A few blocks became a library

vidIQ ships a lot, and partners are not all chasing the same thing. Different niches, focuses, audiences. So one page had to speak to very different audiences.

It started small: update a few blocks for partners to pick from. In the huddle with the PM that grew into a library of feature blocks. A partner takes the ones that fit their focus, keywords or Shorts or coaching, and one section stays entirely theirs, in their own voice.

Every partner, a different page

It had to work at the edges too. We tried different numbers of blocks and found there was a minimum, so every page carries at least that many and the partner picks the rest. We tested internally first, then with a couple of partners willing to try it.

Then we ran it head to head against the old page. It won, and it became the template the partner pages shipped on.
