SimplyWin

The CEO of co.tribute introduced me to Chris Duncan, who wanted to start SimplyWin. We met at a Denny’s, and I got some chicken scratches on pieces of paper.

The product

SimplyWin was an HR platform, and I came in while it was still a concept. Heavy data, leads and lags, tables, charts, donuts.

Me and one full stack engineer

I was in the codebase with Emanuel Arambula the whole way, building my screens out static while he wired them into Angular. I learned just enough of it to be dangerous, and that is where I ran my first npm commands.

I have had the pleasure of working with Patrick on a few projects, and I can honestly say he is a master of his craft. He has the ability to take ideas and flesh them out in a design that is not only beautiful, but also provides an incredible UX vision. He is always more than willing to explain his design decisions and how they accommodate responsive flows and UX considerations. Patrick would be a great asset to any company.

Pat, Your work ethic and creativity is off the charts! We’ve had so many positive comments on the clean, clear, simple brand you’ve helped to create. Thank you! Thanks also for how you went above and beyond when we were starting out. Sincerely, Arvind
